Owned by J. Howard Young of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Miss Pluto Scott had 8 foals between 1947 and 1954. Among her top earners were Plutocrat (3, 1:59.2M $51,204); Fred Scott (3, 2:00.2M 38,371); Ludene Scott (3, 2:05.4H $41,078) and Wisconsin Harness Racing Hall of Fame member Golden Miss (4, 2:02.1H, $64,471). After all of these foals were done racing, each went to the breeding shed, including Fred Scott who had 129 registered foals that made over $558,000; and Plutocrat who sired 169 foals which made over $1.48-million.Golden Miss, is the dam of $454,000 earner and stand-out sire, Strike Out, and the granddam of $2.76-million earner Riyadh. Miss Pluto Scott’s daughter Golden Miss is the namesake for the traveling trophy which is awarded to the horse pacing the fastest mile in the State of Wisconsin each year.
